“We have a ‘Work’ to do!”

Luke 2:49 And He said to them, ‘How is it that you sought Me? Were you not aware that I must be about My Father's business?' 

What was that business?  Should we be about that same business?

John 5:17:  “But Jesus answered them, ‘My Father works hitherto, and I work.

What goals do we have set for the coming year?  Do they have to do with our Father’s business? If we have our minds set to follow the example of Jesus Christ, should we be searching to seek the will of our Father in our daily lives?  The world has an old saying in today’s religions, “Come as You Are.” But is this correct? No it isn’t!  God does not accept us the way we are. We cannot just come as we are! We are to work on ourselves and prepare to be like Jesus Christ. We cannot do this on our own but we allow God the father to work and accomplish things in our lives.
It takes WORK to hear, believe and obey! God wants us to be working when He returns! How are you doing?
