The Law Part 2

The most frequent term used in the Old Testament, in the Hebrew language for ‘Law” is the word ‘Torah’. It is sometimes used as a general designation for the first five books of the Bible. It’s used 220 times in the Old Testament. It basically means direction, guidance or instruction. God’s law is not just a set of rules, but is instruction, guidance and a direction in life. There are different aspects of this instruction. In this series seven words are going to be covered that describe the different aspects of the law of God. Three of those words will be covered in this sermon. These three are Mitzvah, Mishpat, Eduwth. Stay tuned to hear what these mean and how we would apply them in our life today.
